Macaroni penguins

Macaroni penguins are like normal penguins but the difference between they are this faces, macaroni penguins are black face and normal penguins are white face; both have yellow feathers on the head, the plume is more orange and it is in front, their average weight is 5 kg and height of 50-70 cm; they eat squid, krill and other crustaceansMacaroni is the largest of the penguins, with an estimated population of nine million couples.

Their population has declined by 30% in the last three generations. The main threat, as well as for most species in the South Seas, is the potential impact of industrial fishing and oil pollution.
